
BIOGRAPHY
Max Milligan is an international art photographer. Widely exhibited, his work hangs in private and corporate collections worldwide.
Renowned for his painterly eye, he has had three books published. Three more are in production.
All his photographs are naturally lit without the use of flash or filters, and with no subsequent manipulation. His photographs are sold in limited editions of 49 from 20x16 inches (50x40cms) to 30x40 inches (76x101cms).
His first book, Circles of Stone, was published by The Harvill Press in September 1999 with text written by foremost stone circles authority Aubrey Burl. Rare second hand copies can be found on Abebooks.com
Realm of the Incas was published by HarperCollins (UK) and Rizzoli Universe (US) in 2001.
Listed in The Times Top Ten Travel Books of the Year, and selected as Conde Nast Traveller Book of the Month, it quickly sold out and was republished by Idlewild in 2003.
Ghana: A Portrait came out in November 2006. With a foreword by Kofi Annan, it is about to go into a third edition.
The Lebanon, is due for publication in September 2010, The Soul of Scotland in October 2011, and London: A Private View in early 2012.
Max is also working on a book of Fine Art Nudes.
